HendersonPD logoHENDERSON, Ky. (7/11/14) — On June 8, 2014, the Henderson Police met with an individual who stated that they had received numerous calls and voicemails from a person stating that they were Officer Cobb with the Henderson Police Department.

The caller was a female and the victim positively identified the person as Melissa Burton.

Melissa Burton was located at the Henderson County Detention Center on July 10 and was arrested on Warrants for Impersonating a Police Officer (Class D Felony) and Harassing Communications (Class B Misdemeanor).

This is part of a domestic situation so the victim's name will not be released at this time.
