MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/14/13) – The Madisonville Police Department (MPD) arrested a Madisonville woman today, June 14, 2013, on charges involving several different types of illegal drugs.
According to MPD officials, Madisonville Police officers were requested in assistance to a home visit by Probation and Parole. The residence, located at 613 Hall Street, was the home of 51-year-old Debra A. Vandygriff.
Once inside the residence, officers located 10.8 grams of Crystal Meth, 19.4 grams of Synthetic Cannabinoid, 67 Lortabs, 15 Valium, and six white pills that have not been identified as of this time. Also found was two meth pipes, one digital scale and cash. The cash was impounded by officers.
At the time of the investigation, three juveniles were found to be present in the home. The age range of the children was from 11-13 years old. According to officers, the children were present in the residence at the time of drug sales.
MPD stated that over $2600.00 in illicit drugs and currency were recovered.
Vandygriff was arrested and charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance (1st Degree), Wanton Endangerment (1st Degree) 3 counts, and Drug Paraphernalia.
Vandygriff is currently housed in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
