Fatal Motorcycle Accident on 630

breakingnews FATALACCIDENT 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (6/20/13) – On Wednesday, June 19, at approximately 11:40 PM, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy 630.
 
According to HCSO officials, a motorcycle that was traveling north on Hwy 630, just north of the water tower, ran off the left-hand side of the roadway and struck a tree. The operator was pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.
 
The name of the operator is being withheld at this time pending notification of family members.
 
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Medical Center Ambulance, Manitou Fire, and the Hopkins County Coroner’s Office.
 
The wreck is still under investigation.
