Leatherface Visits Madisonville for Local Film Premiere

lucid 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/21/13) – The World Premier of the psychological thriller film, "Lucid" featuring Bill "Leatherface" Johnson of Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, will be hosted tonight at the Ballard Convention Center on East Arch Street.
 
The doors will open for the event at 6 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and at 7:30 p.m. for general ticket holders. Tickets can be purchased at the door before the show.
 
V.I.P. tickets are $20 and general admission tickets are $15. Each guest will receive a copy of "Lucid" on DVD, which is to be included in the cost of admission. The nightmare will begin at 8:30 p.m.
 
"Lucid" was locally filmed and produced by Big Biting Pig Productions (BBP), whose critically acclaimed films of the horror and psychological thriller genre have been recognized on a national level.
 
Headed by Hopkins County residents PJ Woodside and Steve Hudgins, BBP has brought many horror movies to the area.
 
With an M.S.A. in fiction writing, Woodside plays an active role in the filmmaking process by writing, directing, acting and editing in every film BBP produces. "Steve's the creepy, and I'm the crazy," she said.
 
Screenplay writer Victor Miller, author of the original screenplay, "Friday the 13th" regarded Lucid and stated, "You'll never sleep the same again.”
 
Woodside has collaborated with Hudgins on numerous other films of the same genre. You can catch them with some of their cast members at every Friday Night Live event downtown to purchase one of the films of your own or log onto www.bigbitingpigproductions.com to get all the details of each.
 
"Leatherface" will be visiting Madisonville tonight for the premiere and signing "Lucid" material for guests of the feature.
