fireworks cartoonMADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/21/13) – The Life Christian Center will be working closely with TNT Fireworks starting the last weekend of June through July 4th. The stand will be located in the parking lot of Wal-Mart.

This fundraiser will help raise a little money for the extra ministries within the church. “Basically we will be doing this as a fundraiser for our church, and right now it’s going to give a shot in the arm for some of the ministries within our church, for example; our youth ministries. This will help with their budget and some projects in the church. Kind of helps give a financial boost,” stated Pastor Jon Kincaid. “This will be a really good way to interact with the community, get them out there and let them know what we are doing and that is one of the really good things about TNT Fireworks, they don’t mind us promoting the church.”

This is the first year that Life Christian Center will be taking on this project, and if all goes well they will continue to do it every year. They are working closely with the previous church and listening to the advice they have to give.

“We have gone through some training that TNT has for it and this Monday night we will be going to train with the team that will be building for the event,” expressed Kincaid. “It would be great if the community would come out and support us. A lot of what we are trying to do, with the youth and what they can gain from this… we work with a lot of underprivileged kids.”
