UPDATE – Armed Robbery on South Main

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/26/13) – Earlier today, SurfKY News reported a robbery that took place on Friday of last week, June 21.
 
Madisonville Police Department (MPD) officials have now stated that the suspect was a male wearing a camouflage hoodie, ski mask, gloves and was armed with a revolver at the time of the incident.
 
According to MPD, the suspect took money from the cash registers and fled on foot toward Earlington.
 
As was stated in the previous article below, anyone with information on this case should contact Detective Jason McKnight at the Madisonville Police Department as soon as possible.

On Friday evening, June 21, at around 10:30 PM, a robbery took place at BP Food Mart located on South Main Street in Madisonville.

Madisonville Police Department (MPD) officials are currently seeking the assistance of local citizens in identifying and locating the suspect in the case, pictured with this article.
 
MPD officials ask that those looking at the photos take note of the clothing and the approximate height of the suspect.
 
If anyone has any information in this case, phone Detective Jason McKnight, of MPD, at 270-821-1720.
 
Also, Crime Stoppers is offering a $250.00 reward for information leading to the capture of the suspect(s). Tips can be made anonymously by calling 270-825-1111.
