Two Hopkins County Citizens Arrested on Prostitution Charges

arrest  prostMORTONS GAP, Ky. (9/10/13) – A Madisonville man and woman have been arrested on charges related to prostitution after Madisonville Police and Kentucky State Police officers responded to an incident at the Pilot Travel Center at 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Sept 4 in Mortons Gap.
 
According to a Kentucky State Police report, officers responded to a complaint of someone soliciting to perform sexual acts in exchange for money.
 
Trooper Cody Kromer was in charge of the investigation.
 
Madisonville Police Department (MPD) officers served a warrant on Mariah L. Williams, 20, charging her with prostitution Saturday, Sept. 7, and Gevin Lemons, 20, was charged with promoting prostitution and probation violation Monday, Sept. 10.
 
Both are being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail. Williams is being held on a $2,000 cash bond while Lemons is being held on a $2,500 cash bond.
