DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (9/21/13) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the I-69 southbound exit and entry ramps at the Dawson Springs KY 109 Exit 92 Interchange starting September 30, 2013.
This closure of southbound ramps is to allow construction of ramp connections for the new I-69/KY 109 Interchange configuration.
The southbound ramps are expected to be closed for approximately seven days for this work. During that time traffic from the Dawson Springs area will have to detour west on US 62 to Princeton to access I-69 Southbound. Southbound traffic traveling to Dawson Springs will be required to travel US 62 west from Nortonville.
This closure date is tentative, pending weather and other factors. It is part of a reconstruction of the I-69 Dawson Springs Interchange to bring it up to current Interstate standards.
