Vehicle Versus Pedestrian on North Main

pedestrian hit blue 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (10/4/13) – On Thursday, Oct. 3, at approximately 3:27 p.m., Madisonville Fire Department officials responded to a report of a male pedestrian struck by a car in front of Sonic on North Main.
 
Once on the scene, fire units discovered a male lying in the middle of the roadway, after being hit while riding a scooter. Firefighters noted that a Madisonville Police Officer was administering care to the individual at the time of arrival.
 
Firefighters took over patient care and spoke with the driver of the car that struck the scooter. The driver stated that he was not injured.
 
Med Center Ambulance Service transferred the individual to Baptist Health for treatment of injuries.
