traffice acc ky trans 300HOPKINS COUNTY (10/23/13) — There is a report of an incident involving a mower about noon today, Oct. 23, on the Pennyrile Parkway at the 44 mile marker in Hopkins County, according to the Kentucky Department of Transportation.

Early reports indicate a truck struck a tractor involved in mowing operations in the rear and that there are no injuries.

At this time the roadway is open.  However, motorists are advised to use caution in this area.

The KYTC District 2 Safety Coordinator will be conducting a followup investigation.
