MADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/11/13) — Those attending the annual Chamber After Hours hosted by Baptist Health Madisonville brought a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation for Toys for Tots.

From toys and money donated during the Chamber After Hours and a Baptist Health medical staff party, a total of $836 and 129 toys were collected, according to Sara Spencer, Baptist Health spokeswoman.

The event provided festive treats, a beautiful evening view of the city and the opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders and friends.

Marriott Executive Chef Luke Swagger demonstrated his culinary skills with a beautiful presentation of treats including Oysters Rockefeller, boiled shrimp, pork tenderloin, sushi, cheeses and cold cuts.

A large stack of toys and several hundred dollars were raised to provide a better Christmas for needy children in the area.
