Madisonville Men Charged for Breaking, Entering

BURG ARRESTS 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (12/16/13) – The Madisonville Police arrested two male subjects for burglary after a break in at Cross Creek Apartments on Dec. 14.

According to the Madisonville Police Department, Officers Falon Graham and Paul Haynie were dispatched to Cross Creek Apartments in reference to a possible burglary in progress.

A witness advised that she saw a white male wearing black clothing and a bandana break into apartment No. 57 with a crowbar. Police report that the witness said she saw a man get into a red van via the passenger side. The complaintant also advised that the male subject exited the apartment with a television, the report said.

Upon arrival, officers noticed two subjects getting out of the red van and the television in the back. Haynie read the male subject his Miranda Rights and asked him to take him back to the apartment he broke into. The male subject admitted to breaking in to the apartment and taking the television, but did not know whose apartment he stole from, the report said.

Donovan Butler, 19, of Madisonville was charged with burglary in the second degree and is currently lodged in the Hopkins County Jail with a $500 cash bail bond.

Nicholas Frederick, 33, of Madisonville was charged with burglary in the second degree.
