HANSON, Ky. (12/17/13)— The First Five Pages Publications and self-published author Tabitha Short will be hosting a book release party for Short’s third publication, “Renewal”, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at Trendy Treasures in Hanson, Ky.
This past summer, author Tabitha Short visited her family in Kentucky and was inspired by the southern culture. That caused her to become nostalgic for the things she had missed in the south.
“Renewal”, is a contemporary romance novel about a southern woman named Grace Channing, who comes back home after the death of her husband and has to repair more than just relationships she left behind.
“The new book is more than just a romance novel, but a story about coming home, letting go, and giving in,” said author, Tabitha Short. “It’s a story about finding love when love was lost.”
“Renewal” will be available in both iTunes digital and paperback Dec. 21. Those who attend the party will be able to purchase a signed copy at a 25 percent discount and have a chance to win free merchandise. Donations and 10 percent of profits will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help with funding research leading to the cure of the disease.
“The reason why we chose the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is because my little brother has cystic fibrosis,” said Short. “After the 20th of this month, anyone can buy the book on Amazon. Also, sometime in January, the book will also be available in local bookstores around western Kentucky.”
Short is also the author of the popular young adult books including “Her Sister’s Murderer”, a mystery/thriller, and “Arena Games: Legend of Petrova”, a high fantasy. Short also writes short stories in the horror genre and produces them as ebooks for 99 cents on any virtual website ebooks are sold.
