DRUG ARRESTS HANDCUFFS 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (1/10/14) — The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office has arrested several Hopkins County residents after an investigation involving the distribution of crack cocaine in Hopkins County.

According to a HCSO report, Detective Shawn Bean charged Cory Tillman, 32, Nortonville, Donald Johnson, 63, Madisonville, Tracey Pettus, 62, Earlington, and Timothy Maypray, 53, Madisonville with trafficking in a controlled substance/cocaine, and charged John Brad Merrell, 44, White Plains with trafficking in a controlled substance/prescription.

The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office began serving warrants Thursday, Jan. 9 and continued through the following day. Several arrests have been made and more are expected to follow, the report said.
