MADISONVILLE, Ky. (2/24/14) — Madisonville Police responded to a disturbance call at the Red Cardinal Inn Saturday, Feb. 22.

According to the Madisonville Police report, upon arrival, officers observed Tracy Ann Cansler, 41, screaming and drawing her hand back as if she was getting ready to hit a male figure in the face.

When officers were able to make contact with Cansler and the male roommate, Richard Kent Faulconer, 57, they noticed that both individuals had markings on them.

Officers also noticed Cansler was trying to stall and attempting to hide something by the room door.

During the search, officers located a zip-lock bag containing hydrocodone and Tylenol partially concealed in towel by the room door.

Cansler and Faulconer advised officers that the pills belonged to the other. Cansler admitted that she tried to hide the pills because she didn’t want the group they were with to get into trouble, the report said.

Cansler was charged with tampering with physical evidence, menacing and possession of controlled substance, second degree.

Faulconer was charged with possession of controlled substance, second degree, drug unspecified.

Both are currently being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
