Praise in the Park Celebrates Faith at Fourth Fest

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/3/14) — Praise in the Park offered a free praise and worship concert to the public at Madisonville City Park July 3 as part of the city's Fourth Fest celebration.

The event began with a greeting by Mayor David Jackson and a prayer by former Mayor Will Cox.

Performers included Altarvue and groups from Word of Faith Church, Lifepointe Church, and Life Christian Center as well as a group composed of Mayor Jackson, First Lady of Madisonville Leigh Ann Jackson, and Lynette Lewis.

Fourth Fest activities will continue tomorrow evening, July 4, at 5 p.m. at Madisonville City Park. Conch Republic will be performing, and the event will feature children's activities, food vendors, and a beer garden. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.
