MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/21/14) ― Three people were injured during a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Main and Broadway streets Monday, July 21.
According to a Madisonville Police Department report, Diana B. Haire, 43, Madisonville was driving a 2005 Ford SUV headed east on West Broadway traveling through the green light at the intersection. Danielle P. Faulkner, 28, Eddyville, was driving a 2009 Honda four-door headed south on South Main Street and went through the red light at the intersection. The front bumper of Haire’s vehicle struck both passenger side doors of Faulkner’s vehicle, which continued to travel south, striking a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Scotty D. Gamblin, 47, Nortonville, who was stopped facing north for the red light.
Gamblin and his passenger, Lori C. Gamblin, 45, Nortonville, were injured. Haire was also injured. However, Faulkner was not injured.
MPD Officer William Roundtree was the investigating officer.
