HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (8/14/14) — The filing deadline for non-partisan offices for the Nov. 4 General Election was Tuesday, Aug. 12.
Those filing include:
Dawson Springs Independent School Board: Tracy Overby, Melissa Knight, Vicki F. Allen and Cliff Key to fulfill an unexpired term.
Earlington Mayor: Christopher A. Proctor, incumbent Michael Seiber, Arthur Johnson and Michael Simpson.
Earlington City Council: Daniel Hartline, Johnny Wix, Brian W. Ruffin, Philip R. Hunt, Jim Hicks, Matthew Reeves and Wanda Wilson.
Hanson Mayor: Charles H. Young, Mickey DeMoss and Ronnie Vaughn.
Hanson City Commissioner: Joe Haywood, Wayne W. Wells, Carlis L. Oakley, Margaret Vaughn, Brandon Marsh Jim Tompkins.
Mortons Gap Mayor: Incumbent Frank Stafford.
Mortons Gap City Council: Wendy Coakley Smith, Linus Schwagel, Jo Beth Appleby, Peggy Harvey, Roger Faulk, Terry Bowman, Sandra Dupree and Chris Phelps.
Nebo Mayor: Wayne Kelley.
Nebo City Commissioner: John W. Dukes, James E. Kelley, Charles “Juddy” Jarrell and Patricia “Pat” Vincent.
White Plains Mayor: Joshua Slaton and Mike Williams.
White Plains City Commissioner: Carl Lee Lyell, David Dunlap, Gregg Russell and Lawrence Williams.
Hopkins County School Board: Div. 2, Steven Ray Faulk and Div. 4, Mike Morgan.
Dawson Springs City Council: Ray Bochert, Rhonda C. Mills, Kenneth R. Mitchell, Jackie L. Mathis, Mark B. McGregor and Rick Henrickson.
Nortonville Mayor: Charles E. Coburn, Jr., C.T. Sturt and James Key.
