HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (8/15/14) ― The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force has obtained numerous arrest warrants stemming from investigations into the distribution of methamphetamine and prescription controlled substance.
According to an Aug. 15 HCSO report, several arrests in relation to the investigation are expected.
Those charged include John Wilson, III, 56, Henderson, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/meth; Ivan Bassett, 34, Mortons Gap, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/morphine; Bryan Adams, 35, Madisonville, two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and first-degree criminal mischief; and, Stephanie McLaine, 39, St. Charles, six counts of obtaining controlled substance without patient practitioner relationship.
