WESTERN Ky. (6/14/13) – The weather for the weekend looks to be beautiful, but will likely serve as the calm before the storm of next week.
Today, Friday, we should see sunshine all day long with a high around 81 degrees and a slight north wind blowing at about 8 mph. The evening hours will remain clear with temperatures falling to around 62 degrees.
Saturday will remain mostly sunny, the high rising up to around 85 degrees and the wind becoming very calm as the day progresses. Saturday night will have a few clouds slowly moving in, but mostly clear, with a low around 62 degrees.
Sunday will start out sunny with clouds thickening throughout the day and a 40 percent chance of random showers and thunderstorms, and a high around 86 degrees. Sunday night will show the chance of storms hitting 50 percent with a low of 70 and a light south wind.
At this point, radar shows a good chance of storms moving in Monday and Tuesday of next week.
