Felony Arrests in Crittenden County

arrested handcuffs blue 300CRITTENDEN COUNTY, Ky. (7/11/14) — On Thursday, July 10, 2014, at approximately 8:18 a.m., the Kentucky State Police received a complaint of stolen property in the Dycusburg area. Numerous items consisting of chainsaws, blowers and chainsaw chains were taken from a vehicle on Kentucky 295.

Troopers responded to the scene of the theft on Kentucky 295. The victim had discovered some of his stolen items on Owens Road, 1 mile west of Dycusburg. Units followed the roadway until they located a hunting cabin just off Owens Road.

During the investigation, units located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at the cabin and on the person of two females that were at the cabin.

The following were arrested and lodged in the Crittenden County Detention Center as a result of the investigation.

Daniel G. Perdue, 28, of Marion Ky., was arrested and charged with the following offense:

  • Theft by Unlawful Taking $500 or more but under $10,000

Rebekah E. Caudill, 33, of Dawson Springs Ky., was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance First Degree, First Offense (Methamphetamine)

  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess

Melanie K. Ford, 50, of Eddyville Ky., was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance First Degree, First Offense (Methamphetamine)

  • Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess

Units recovered the stolen property and it was returned to the victim. The investigation continues by Trooper Darron Holliman.

Trooper Holliman was assisted during the investigation by Trooper Chris King, Fish/Wildlife Officer Randy Conway and Crittenden County Constable Billy Arflack.
