cadiz police arrest4 300CADIZ, Ky. (8/18/14) — Officer Roger Knight arrested Ebony Byers, 29, of Hopkinsville on Aug. 15, 2014 after she was found to be intoxicated on Martindale Street.

Once she was placed under arrest, Byers claimed to be having a seizure and was taken to Trigg County Hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, Byers bit a nurse on his torso area during the course of his medical duties. Byers was charged with Alcohol Intoxication and Assault Third Degree. After it was determined there was no medical issue with Byers, she was lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $5,000 surety bond.

Officer Aaron Acree arrested Sara M. Dellmeyer, 22, of St. Charles, Ill. on Aug. 17, 2014 after she was stopped for driving eratically. Dellmeyer failed several field sobriety tests and registered a .153 BRAC following her arrest. She was charged with DUI - First Offense and Careless Driving. A passenger, Kody Blick, 22, of Cadiz, refused to comply with officer's commands and became aggressive toward the officer. Blick refused to show his hands and was taken into custody by the officer with the aid of his taser. Blick was charged with Alcohol Intoxication; Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Sgt. Scott Brown arrested John J. Jones, 32, of Cadiz on Aug. 17, 2014 on Cunningham Avenue and served him three Trigg County District Court arrest warrants charging him with Failure to Appear in Court and Failure to Pay Fines.
