Health Department Launches Survey on Services in October

Lexington Heath Department 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (10/5/13) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department wants to hear from you on what you know about Public Health.

In order to measure community awareness about services, the health department is using the month of October to collect responses HERE.

“This survey will give Lexington residents a chance to share what they know about some of our more well-known programs, like restaurant inspections, flu shots and nutrition programs for moms and children, as well as provide information on some of things most people might not know we provide, such as Tuberculosis tracking, home visits to first-time mothers and cultural diversity workshops,” said Kevin Hall, health department spokesman. “This survey will let us know what we’re doing right, but more importantly, what we need to do improve awareness in the community.”

The survey will run until Oct. 31 and should take less than five minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, participants will have the option to include contact information to be eligible to win one of two $50 Target gift cards. Winners will be required to visit the health department to pick up the gift card. Individual responses will be kept confidential and will be used solely for internal purposes.
