Get Your Daily Fix Of ‘Red Bang Bang’

red bangbang 300LEXINGTON, Ky (11/7/13)— In Chinese culture, red stands for good luck and bang means awesome. Cai and Sheng Dong have opened a new Chinese restaurant in Lexington and everyone is talking about it. Red Bang Bang is located at 103 West Maxwell Street with 10 items on the menu.

“It’s a Chinese restaurant that is Chipotle-style. We call it fast casual. We have a big open kitchen layout and people can watch us cook. You can walk up and pick steamed rice, fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, beef and broccoli, or General Tso, or some of each. Everything is a buck a scoop,” said Kevin Decarlo, who is marketing and branding consultant for the Dongs.

Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
