Two Arrested on Narcotics Charges

drugarrest 300 cPADUCAH, Ky. (7/26/13) – On July 25th, 2013, The Paducah Police Drug and Vice Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Paducah Police FLEX Platoon, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 1700 block of North 12th Street. The operation was the result of an on-going two month undercover investigation involving illegal narcotic sales. During the investigation, information was developed that indicated illegal narcotics would most likely be found in the residence.

During the search, investigators found a small amount of cocaine that was packaged for street sales, various items of drug paraphernalia, $8,050.00 in cash, and a .38 caliber revolver. The cash is believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales. The illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and handgun were all located in a single bedroom of the residence. Detectives determined that two people, Eddie Jones, 38 and Kendra Wade, 25, were involved in illegal narcotics sales. The five other people located in the residence were released.
