One Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle Collision

Accident Injury 01 gold 300PADUCAH, Ky. (8/16/13) – On Friday, August 16, 2013, at approximately 8:05 a.m. the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to an accident with injuries in the 3100 block of Benton Road.

Once on the scene, Deputies found that David S. Juell, 58 of Paducah, was operating a 1992 Ford F-150 and was pulling out of AAA Storage between two stopped vehicles. Mr. Juell failed to see a 2007 Chevy HHR operated by Heather R. Henson, 32 of Paducah, southbound on Benton Road and struck the Henson vehicle on the driver’s side. The impact caused Ms. Henson to run off the right side of the roadway down an embankment. That impact caused Ms. Henson’s sons booster seat to dislodge from the seat belt and tip over.

The son, a 3 year-old, of Paducah was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on scene was Reidland-Farley Fire Department and Mercy Ambulance Service. The scene was cleared by Randy’s Towing.
