arrest twowomen 300PADUCAH, Ky. (9/25/13) – On August 12, 2013, Deputy Chris Glenn stopped Sheree Gilbert of Metropolis, Illinois and charged her with Driving under the Influence. During a search of Gilbert and her vehicle, Glenn located 13 grams of powder cocaine, various other controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia. Due to a medical condition, Gilbert was cited for the DUI and released at a local hospital.

In early September, 2013, the McCracken County Grand Jury indicted Gilbert, 50 years old, for Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Trafficking Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Illegal Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving Under the Influence.

On September 24, 2013, deputies and detectives located Gilbert at a local business on Kentucky Avenue. She was lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

Following up with that investigation, detectives with the Drug Division began an investigation regarding Stephanie Waddell of Paducah, KY. Detectives learned that Waddell was attempting to illegally purchase controlled substances from Gilbert. Acting in an undercover capacity, detectives reached an agreement to meet Waddell and sell her Xanax and Methadone.

Waddell was located at a business at 3131 Irvin Cobb Paducah, KY and taken into custody. US currency was seized as part of the investigation. Waddell, 24 years old, was charged with Conspiracy to Possess Controlled Substance 1st and 3rd Degree and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
