PADUCAH, Ky. (10/3/13) – On October 2, 2013, deputies attempted to locate Brandon Bell, 27, of West Paducah on outstanding felony warrants and parole violations including drug charges and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
On arrival, Mr. Bell observed deputies and exited his front porch and proceeded to the rear of his residence on foot. Deputies drove past the front of the residence to the rear and observed Mr. Bell fleeing from deputies on foot. Deputy Eric Abbott exited the passenger side of the patrol unit and began pursuing Bell on foot. Deputies were able to apprehend Mr. Bell in the rear of his residence in an open field. Mr. Bell was taken into custody on his outstanding warrants and fleeing from Law Enforcement.
Deputy Pugh searched the nearby field and located an amount of marijuana where Mr. Bell was apprehended. Bell admitted to possession of the marijuana and trying to conceal it.
Bell was charged with the drug charges along with the parole violation warrant and an additional warrant for separate and past drug charges.
