PADUCAH, Ky. (10/11/13) – During the early morning hours of October 11th, 2013, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white 2002 Ford Thunderbird for failing to use its turn signal. The vehicle was driven by 34 year-old Christa Ballard of Kevil, KY.
During the course of the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located several small baggies of methamphetamine, that when added together had a total weight of 25 grams. Deputies also located a glass meth smoking pipe along with other items of drug paraphernalia. It was also determined that Christa was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time of the traffic stop.
Christa was arrested and lodged in McCracken County Regional Jail.
