Motorcycle Hydroplanes, Female Injured

motorcycle accident yellow 300PADUCAH, Ky. (10/16/13) – On October 15, 2013 at approximately 4:15 p.m., Deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Dept. responded to the 4100 block of Oaks Road for an injury accident.
 
Upon arrival, it was found that Greta Greenup, 45 years old, of Paducah, was operating her 2013 Tao Tao Motorcycle North bound on Oaks Road. Greenup lost control due to the wet roadways, not having the vehicle under the proper control, and ran off the roadway. Greenup then laid the motorcycle over in the wet grass and slid into the ditch.
 
Greenup was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
 
Greenup was transported to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of apparent minor injuries.
 
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Reidland Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service.
