8-14drugarrest. blank01MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (8/15/14) — Detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department arrested two Kevil men early Thursday morning after a search warrant was executed at their home.

On Aug. 14 at approximately 6 a.m., deputies with McCracken and Marshall County Sheriff’s Departments executed a search warrant at 11710 Woodville Road in Kevil area of McCracken County. Upon entry to the residence deputies encountered three pitbull dogs. One of the dogs lunged at a deputy in attempt to bite him and was shot. Detectives located four adults, two men and two women and one child inside the residence.

Detectives arrested both Corey Leonard and Caleb Scronce charging them with the illegal items located in the home and on the property. Both were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. The child was released to a family member.

The investigation revealed that Corey Leonard and Caleb Sconce both lived at the residence and had been involved in the sale of Marijuana for the past approximate 2-3 months.
