Tennessee Man Charged with Unlawful Transaction with Warren County Minor

arrest forkWARREN COUNTY, Ky. (1/17/14) — The Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a sexual predator complaint Jan. 14 at 241 Brenner Street in Bowling Green.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies were advised from the father of a 15-year-old female that a 21-year-old man from Tennessee was in route to meet his daughter at the local Hardee’s restaurant and transport her back to Tennessee with him.

During their investigation, deputies found that William Earle Forkum of Hartsville, Tenn. and the 15-year-old female had been having inappropriate online conversations on Facebook and texts messages that were sexual in nature, the report said.

The investigation is on-going.

Forkum was charged for attempted unlawful transaction with a minor, first degree. He is currently being lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
