Forest Harrison, age 90 of Claymour, KY

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. - Forest Harrison, age 90 of Claymour, KY passed away Friday October 11, 2013 9:55 a.m. at his residence of natural causes.

Mr. Forest was born in Todd County August 7, 1923 the son of the late Mack Harrison and Maude Robey Harrison. He was retired from the Ky State Highway Department and a farmer. Mr. Forest was a World War II veteran where he served in the U.S. Army. He was a devoted member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and a past member of the Claymour Camp Meeting Board. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy, Buster and Robert Harrison, one sister Lucille Foltz.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Dorothy Heltsley Harrison of Claymour, KY one daughter Susan (Donnie) Carroll of Claymour, KY one son Tommy Harrison of Greenville, KY. two Grandchildren Amy (Chad) Frogue and Josh Carroll both of Elkton, KY, two Great Grandchildren Alexis Frogue and Paxton Frogue both of Elkton, KY.

Services will be Monday October 14, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Brent Arn and Rev. Doug Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday October 13, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY and at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church after 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
