Brenda M. Walker, 65, of Huntingburg, Indiana, formerly of Owensboro

5flowerOWENSBORO, Ky. - Brenda M. Walker, 65, of Huntingburg, Indiana, formerly of Owensboro, passed away with her family by her side, Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN after a long illness. Brenda entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born April 5, 1948 in Owensboro to the late William H. and Christine Beal Walker. She enjoyed playing cards and being with friends and family.

She is survived by her brother, Bill Walker (Janice) of Owensboro; two daughters, Sheryl Zoglmann (Chris) and Jeanine Kearbey both of Owensboro; a son, Richard Hays (Britanya) of Stillwater, PA; eight grandchildren, Bryson Morrow, Kennedy Rowan, Jai Rowan, Kirsten Zoglmann, Mick Zoglmann, Xavier Hays, Kaleena Hays and Marcus Hays; two nieces, Jessica Walker of Louisville and Erin Walker of Owensboro; and a nephew Evan Walker of Owensboro. Brenda's family wishes to express a special thank you to the nurses and staff of The Waters of Huntingburg.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Daniel Pitino Shelter, 501 Walnut Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
