Carl Edward Gunterman, 51, of Owensboro, KY

treesunOWENSBORO, Ky. - Carl Edward Gunterman, 51, of Owensboro, KY passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, at his home. He was born July 6, 1962 in Owensboro. He was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Kirk Gunterman, Sr., his brother, Russell K. Gunterman, Jr., sister, Donna Leibfried and step daughter, Melissa Kay Wedding.

Survivors include his wife of 16 1/2 years, Sheila Gunterman; daughter, Carrie Lynn Wilkerson of Owensboro; mother, Patricia Carol Gunterman of Owensboro; stepson, Harold Lee Wigginton, Jr. (DeAnn) of Lynn, IN; stepdaughters, Sandra Mae Flores (Juan) and Angela Faye Zamora (Angel) both of Owensboro; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, John Gunterman (Joyce), Robert Gunterman and Garry Gunterman all of Owensboro; sisters, Sandra Langdon (Douglas), and Alice Snyder (John) both of Owensboro, Vicki Lowe (Jim) of Murray, KY, Becky Gunterman of Cincinnati, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Anita Faye Travis of Owensboro and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro. Burial is in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 1:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday where prayers will be said at 6:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
