Bennie Durwood Sadler, Sr., 66, of South Carrolton

2doveMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Bennie Durwood Sadler, Sr., 66, of South Carrolton, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at his residence . Mr. Sadler was born June 5, 1947 in Muhlenberg County. He was a Boilermaker for Local in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his mother Mossie Ford Long; father Cecil Sadler, Sr.; Step father Victor Long; brothers Conway Ray Elvis, Ellis Lewis Sadler, and Roger Dale Sadler, and a nephew, William Lewis Sadd.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Wood Sadler of South Carrolton; son, Bennie (Stephanie) Sadler of Greenville; daughters Christie Luttrell and companion Michael Callahan of Cleaton, Nancy Mefford and companion Tim Stanley of Greenville, and Hailey Sadler of South Carrolton; grandchildren James (Tenisha) Bourne of Owensboro, Casey Bourne of Greenville, DJ Hunter of Greenville, Zachary Sadler of Greenville, Brandon Luttrell of Cleaton, Matthew Dylan Luttrell of Madisonville, Skylar Bourne of Greenville, Ashley (Nathan) Lear of Greenville and Erika (Ismael) Traore of Harrisburg, IL; great-grandchildren Abbigail Lear of Greenville, Miracle Hollowell of Central City, Kasious Bourne of Owensboro, and NeVaeh Traore of Harrisburg, IL.; sisters Sharon (Glendall) Hardison of Beechmont, Kathleen (Bill) Postlewatte of Beechmont; brothers Robert (Ramona) of Dunmor and Cecil Sadler, Jr. of Belton.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Jeffrey Hollowell officiating, assisted by Rev. Marcus Hardison. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
