Hugh Walker English 70, of Utica, Ky

obit-sunrisetreeOWENSBORO, Ky. - Hugh Walker English 70, of Utica, Ky passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Hugh Walker English was born July 2, 1943 in Calhoun, Ky to the late Gus and Nina Riggs English. Hugh Walker retired from maintenance at the Towne Square Mall in Owensboro, was a member of Calhoun Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include a brother, Wallace English of Pleasant Ridge; a sister, Nancy Hatler of Utica; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend who was like his brother, Jay Howard of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Rev. Van Ashton officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County with Military Honors conducted by the McLean County Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post # 5415. Friends may visit with Hugh Walker's family from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday and from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Calhoun.

The Hugh Walker English family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Calhoun Cemetery, Beautification Fund; C/O Winfred Williams; P.O. Box 201; Calhoun, Ky 42327. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
