Nicholas William Shiarella, Jr. 76 of Owensboro, Ky

treesunOWENSBORO, Ky. - Nicholas William Shiarella, Jr. 76 of Owensboro, Ky passed away September 1, 2013 at Grayson Manor in Leitchfield. He was born on October 22, 1936 in Owensboro to the late Nicholas, Sr. and Mary Shiarella. He was an independent oil producer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Roehm Shiarella, a sister, Patricia Shiarella Harris, and a nephew, Jeff T. Harris.

Survivors include his son, Jason Nicholas Shiarella and wife Catherine Paige of Breckinridge County, three grandchildren, Hunter, Dalton, and Landon Shiarella, a sister, Mary Shiarella Sachs of Louisville; Nieces and Nephews, Jane Harris Downey (Todd), Thomas W. Harris (Katherine), Jennifer Sachs Dobbins (Mark), Stephanie Sachs Sparks, Nicholas Sachs (Lauri), and Anna Harris.

Services will be Noon Wednesday at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 on Tuesday and after 10:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the donor's favorite charity in his honor.
