Bobby C. Scott 76, of Calhoun, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Bobby C. Scott 76, of Calhoun, Ky passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Bobby Clay Scott was born July 4, 1937 in Webster County, Kentucky to the late Barney and Vi Ella Jobe Scott and was married to the former Rebecca Jean Logsdon on November 15, 1975. Bobby was retired from the Kentucky Department of Highways, a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church, and a University of Kentucky Basketball Fan. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Becky Scott who passed away May 5, 2008.

Survivors include a step daughter and her husband, Emily and Billy Joe Burks of Owensboro; three brothers, Maurice Scott of St. Charles, Michigan, Larry Scott, and David M. Scott both of Beech Grove; two sisters, Jo Wetzel of Owensboro and Nancy Leonforte of Portage, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Bobby's family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 11:00 A.M. until time of services Thursday at Musters in Calhoun.

The Bobby C. Scott family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Calhoun Baptist Church, Christian Life Center; P.O. Box 283; Calhoun, Kentucky 42327. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
