Grace Edith Saltzman Lynn, 95, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Grace Edith Saltzman Lynn, 95, of Owensboro, Ky passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013. She was born on May 28, 1918 in Daviess County, KY to the late Edd Saltzman and Margaret Shelton Saltzman. She was a 1937 graduate of Daviess County High School, a member of Panther Creek Baptist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class, and a 35 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Before retiring, she was a seamstress for 25 years for Newman's Draperies and Ravels LTD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lee Lynn; and a son, William Thompson.

Survivors include one daughter, Melinda Stinnett of Owensboro; two sons, Gregory (Jessica) Prush of Owensboro and Donald (Linda) Thompson of New Boston, MI; two nephews, Gene (Helen) Williams of Owensboro and Randy (Belinda) Saltzman of Bowling Green; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Stinnett, William Stinnett, Johnna Hendricks and Kayleen Hardin all of Owensboro, Brandyn Smith of Evansville, Donald Thompson, Jr. and Bradley Thompson of Michigan; nine great-grandchildren, Logan Waddell, Luke Waddell, Kaylee Stinnett, Brylee Grace Stinnett, Kaysin Hendricks, Jacob Ray, Haley Thompson, Gage Thompson, and Kross Thompson; and one great-great-granddaughter, Natalee Thompson.

Services are 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Panther Creek Baptist Church, 7146 U.S. Hwy 431, Owensboro, KY 42301.
