Joy Leach, 86, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Joy Leach, 86, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013, at her home. She was born April 19, 1927 in Chicago, IL to the late Harry M. and Edna Weathers. She had been employed as an executive secretary for a television station in Terre Haute, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Leach; brother, Bob Weathers; and sister, Evelyn Gettinger.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancee and Bobby Woodward of Owensboro; grandson, Kees Woodward and his wife, Alice of Wilmette, IL; great grandson, Hugh Blair Woodward and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Elks Country Club following the service. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro, Ky is in charge of arrangements.
