O.T. Evans 85, of Beech Grove, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - O.T. Evans 85, of Beech Grove, Ky passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Riverside Manor Health Care Center in Calhoun. O.T. Evans was born October 10, 1928 in Whitesville, Ky to the late Deales and Effie Evans and was married to the former Margaret June Edds on November 19, 1948. O.T. was owner and operator of Evans Enterprises in Beech Grove. In addition to his parents, O.T. was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June Evans, who passed away February 13, 2008.

Survivors include a daughter, Kerri Hall and husband, Michael of Owensboro; a son, Owen Nicholas 'Nick' Evans of Beech Grove; two grandsons, Jeremiah Hall and wife, Dawn of Newport, Ky and Nathaniel Evans of Owensboro; a great granddaughter, Eva Hall; a brother, Cody Evans of Whitesville; and a sister, Lavada Heath of Owensboro.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Bethel Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Midkiff officiating. Friends may visit with O.T.'s family from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel.

The O.T. Evans family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department; P.O. Box 74; Beech Grove, Ky 42322. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
