Hollie M. Payne, 42, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Hollie M. Payne, 42, of Owensboro, Ky went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro on November 4, 1971. Hollie was a member of the Catholic faith and had been a manager with McDonald's. She was preceded in death by her biological father, David Eugene Coomes; maternal grandparents, Thomas L. and Elma Belle Adkisson; paternal grandparents, Jerry Combs and Willa Mae Combs; uncles, Charles Conway, Johnny 'JT' Adkisson and Donnie Payne ; and an aunt, Mary Hester Clark.

Survivors include her two children, Autumn Dame of Glasgow and Ernie Broadway IV of Indiana; her sunshine and love of her life, a granddaughter, Destiny Love Davis; a sister, Nella Powers Edge of Owensboro; a brother, Bryan Coomes of Texas; her mother, Elizabeth 'Babe' Powers of Owensboro; her father, Billy Joe Payne of Illinois; step-father, Archie Powers; uncle, Gardner Daniel, Jr; aunt, Rita Faye Adkisson; and three nephews, in memory of their Aunt Lollie, Bryson, Braxton and Brayden Edge.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Southside Fellowship Church, 2804 Veach Road in Owensboro, with John Fowler officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. on Wednesday at Southside Fellowship Church.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Daviess County Animal Shelter, 2620 Hwy. 81, Owensboro, Ky 42301 or the Humane Society, 3101 West 2nd St., Owensboro, Ky 42301.
