Forrest Ann Lindsey, 74, of Owensboro, Ky

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Forrest Ann Lindsey, 74, of Owensboro, Ky passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Heartford House in Owensboro. She was born January 22, 1940 in Harlan County, Ky to the late Phillip Douglas and Frankie Roberts. She retired from Pinkerton Tobacco Company after 18 years of employment and was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Roberts.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Lindsey; sons, William 'Tim' Coons (Louisa), David Kirk (Katie) and Kevin Kirk (Roxanna) all of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Devon Coons, Lee Kirk, Katy Kirk, Shay Kirk, Ally Paige Kirk and Carly Kirk; a great grandchild, Julius Reed; and two brothers, Rick D. Roberts of Lewisport, Ky and Mark A. Roberts (Helen) of Maceo, Ky; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Visitation is from 12:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Ennichement is in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Ky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, Ky 42301.
