Sandra Renee Embry, 50, of Owensboro

OWENSBORO, Ky. – Sandra Renee Embry, 50, of Owensboro passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 25, 1964 in California to the late Glendell R. Ferguson and Linda Lois Ralph Sorrells. Sandy worked for Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was someone who was very artistic and had a passion for drawing, digital media, general crafts, and custom jewelry. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Ferguson; and a nephew, Brian Keith Hillard.

Survivors include her son, Eric Embry and his fiancé, Latisha Howard; two grandchildren, Alysha Denice Embry and Ali William Embry; a brother, Allen Ferguson; two sisters, Linda Rose Brown and Vickie Moss; a nephew, Patrick Johnston; nieces, Beverly Maxwell and Stephanie Russell; and a host of friends.

Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
