Ramona E. Smith, 100, of Owensboro, Ky.

OWENSBORO, Ky. – Ramona E. Smith, 100, of Owensboro, Ky. passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, at her home in Owensboro. She was born December 23, 1913 in Crawford County, Ill. to the late Ray E. and Algona Smith. She retired after 21 years of employment with Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Illinois, where she was a medical secretary. She attended Good Shepherd Church and was a member of Fairview Methodist Church in Illinois. She was preceded in death by her sister, Myrl Tredway and by brothers, Dane and Larry Smith.

She is survived by a nephew, Richard Tredway and niece, Dianna Tredway.

There will be no services or visitation. Private burial will be in Bridgeport, Ill.

James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements.
