OWENSBORO, Ky. – Jerome F. “Frank” Miller, Jr., 67, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Heartford House. Frank was born on January 24, 1947 to the late Jerome Frank Miller, Sr., and Lucille Hettich Miller in Louisville. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and Aaron’s Vocational School. He was a long haul truck driver, eventually working for the Kroger Company and retiring from Packaging Unlimited in Owensboro.
Frank was a man’s man who never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors and all animals and would spend hours sitting on his patio feeding the birds and squirrels while he drank a few beers and talked to his neighbors. He loved being at Rough River on his pontoon, making sure everyone was having a good time, enjoyed working in his yard and grilling out and helping others in any way he could.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, P.J. Miller; a son, Jerome Frank Miller, III, of Palmyra, Ind.; two step daughters that loved him dearly, Jill (Tommy) Morrison and Heidi Hagerman, both of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and his good friend Noel Jones.
A Celebration of his life, love and family will be Sunday at his home, August 3, 2014 from 1-4 p.m.
