Tommy Allen Tillotson, age 70, of Henderson, KY

HENDERSON, Ky. - Tommy Allen Tillotson, age 70, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 4:35 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2013, at St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center, Henderson, KY.

He was born October 10, 1942, in Henderson, to the late Morris and Lucille Tillotson. Mr. Tillotson was a member of Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church for over 20 years. Tommy worked for Markham Security for 19 years; he also worked on repairing cars with his father. He retired from the Henderson Police Department as Sergeant after 22 years of service.

Tommy was preceded in death by his son Richard Tillotson and a brother Jackie Tillotson.

Survivors include: Wife of 48 years: Mary F. Tillotson Henderson, KY; 1 Daughter: Cheryl Bartley and husband Tom Toms Brook, VA; 2 Grandsons: Andrew & Austin Bartley; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Tommy's Life Celebration from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 and again on Thursday starting at 9:00 AM at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the funeral home with the Reverend Hollis Marshall & Reverend Wayne Burt officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY.
