2cloudsHENDERSON, KY. - Jane Russell Overton Nollmann, age 88, of Henderson, KY, passed away at 11:10 PM, Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Methodist Hospital, Henderson, KY.

She was born on December 30, 1924 to R. Thomas and Mattie Russell Overton in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Nollmann worked for Campbell Jewelers for 21 years. After retirement she volunteered at the Welcome Center. Jane was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Although she was a fantastic mom, Jane wasn't a typical mom. She enjoyed riding on the motorcycle with her husband. She also taught her children to clean and cook at early ages. They still joke about how great of a cook Mom was, not so much a housekeeper. One of her favorite things was traditions; one of her own being sending Christmas ornaments to her grandsons every year. She also enjoyed ceramics and needle point. Jane lived each day as it came, to the fullest.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by husband Al Nollmann, who was her world and love of her life. Also preceding her was her older sister, Marietta Carneal.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Patricia Dall The Woodlands, TX; 2 Sons: Thomas Nollmann, Richard Nollmann and Wife Patti Both of Henderson, KY; 1 Sister: Martha Wilson Clinton, KY; Caregiver and Special Friend: Betty Shoemaker Henderson, KY; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great-Grandchildren; Many Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jane's Life Celebration from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Benton Glunt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at10:00 AM on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with Reverend Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY.
