Gerald Thomas Adams, 59, of Henderson, Ky

HENDERSON, Ky. - Gerald Thomas Adams, 59, of Henderson, Ky passed away at 8:46 PM Saturday October 26, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

He was born on January 20, 1954 to Martin Thomas and Geraldine (Carter) Adams in Henderson. Gerald was retired from Karges Furniture in Evansville and was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Kimberly Powell.

He is survived by his wife Frances Adams; 1 son: Matthew Thomas Adams of Henderson; 2 Step-daughters: Christine L. Sherrill, Katherine M. Sherrill both of Evansville; 2 Brothers: Howell Embry of Killeen, Texas, Stevie Adams of Henderson; 8 Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday October 30, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Willard Clement and Pastor Darrell Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Thomas Adams Martin Adams, Willie Carter, Jackie Pruden, Leo Skaggs III, David Duncan, Lee Jordan and Dewayne Peercy.

Honorary pallbearer will be Darrell Powell Sr.
